I was hoping to alleviate a self-perceived obstacle to closing sales – the perception that younger business prospects who once saw me as “old and bald” might think of me now only as “old.” Ironically, most acquaintances look at me now and think I look much younger than my age. That never happened when I was bald.
I’m left to focus on the real reason I invested in a “new” head of hair: that it makes me feel better about myself. Having hair again gives me more confidence.
Now, I can worry about shedding my extra few pounds like everybody else.
