So much emphasis is placed upon execution and action in the business world today that there’s little time left for introspection. Until we embrace the Delphic injunction “to know thyself” we’ll be singing the refrain from that old Peggy Lee song, “Is That All There Is?”
Introspection leads to insight, insight to inspiration and inspiration to awareness. Awareness helps us make informed choices, and informed choices help bring us into alignment with our best self. When aligned, we are our most authentic, and our authenticity empowers us to reach our full potential.
It’s then that we stand in our power.
