In 2017, I led two firms: my agency and The 100 Companies, which publishes this newsletter. Busy I was.
So when a competing owner approached me about selling her my agency, I listened. Two months later, while on a California sales trip, we closed the deal. I phoned my team, informed them of the acquisition and that they’d be reporting the following Monday to their new shop. Due to non-competes and non-solicits, I haven’t seen them or my clients since.
I’ve recently re-launched my agency website. This month, it attracted a new business partner and several new/old clients. Godspeed!
